3-Day Sahara Camel Trek from M'Hamid: Sidi Naji & Erg Aït Ounir
Three days on foot with a nomad guide and pack camels. Walk from M'Hamid through the palm grove to Sidi Naji for lunch under the tamarisks and a bivouac you help set up, then on to the dunes of Erg Aït Ounir for a second night under the stars, returning to M'Hamid at the end of the morning on day three.

Itinerary
- Day 1: M'Hamid – Sidi NajiLeave M'Hamid with your guide and camels, cross the palm grove and reach Sidi Naji for lunch in the shade of the tamarisks. Set up the bivouac together, dinner and campfire.
- Day 2: Sidi Naji – Erg Aït OunirWalk across regs and small dunes to Erg Aït Ounir, an isolated erg surrounded by tamarisks where nomads shelter. Second night in a wild bivouac.
- Day 3: Erg Aït Ounir – M'HamidSunrise on the dunes, breakfast and the walk back to M'Hamid, arriving at the end of the morning.

Frequently asked questions
Is this trek difficult?
No. It is a moderate walk on sand and flat ground, around 4-5 hours a day at nomad pace, with camels carrying the luggage.
Are there children's prices?
Yes, discounts for children are available on request.
Where do we sleep?
In wild bivouacs set up each evening with the team: tents for one to three people, mattresses and blankets. Bring a sleeping bag for extra comfort.
Is this a private tour?
Yes. All our departures are private, in small groups of 1 to 8 people, with your own vehicle, driver and local guide. Dates are flexible and the programme can be adapted to your group.
What should I pack?
Light, breathable clothes for the day and a few warm layers for the evening, comfortable closed shoes, a hat, sunglasses and sun cream. Blankets are provided, but bring a sleeping bag if you have one for extra comfort.
