These terms define the conditions under which Desert Legacy Tours SARL sells and organises excursions, private circuits, group circuits, bivouac camps, treks, desert stays and tourist services in Morocco. The essential characteristics of the services are presented on the website. Photographs and descriptions are provided for guidance and may vary slightly depending on local, weather or logistical conditions.

A service may be booked via the booking form on the website, by email, or by phone or messaging (WhatsApp, etc.). A booking is considered firm after written confirmation from Desert Legacy Tours SARL and receipt of the required deposit. The client undertakes to provide accurate information (name, contact details, number of participants, desired dates and any useful information about their health or specific needs).

Prices shown on the website are expressed in euros (EUR) or in any other currency stated at the time of booking. Unless otherwise indicated, prices include the services described in the programme (transport, accommodation, meals, guide, planned activities, etc.). Generally not included:

• international or domestic flights;
• personal insurance;
• drinks not mentioned;
• personal expenses;
• tips and gratuities;
• any service not expressly included in the description.

A deposit may be requested at the time of booking to secure the service. The balance is payable according to the terms specified in the booking confirmation (before departure or on site, depending on the type of circuit). Payments can be made by bank transfer, online payment or any other method accepted by Desert Legacy Tours SARL. If the balance is not paid within the agreed time, the company reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Any request to change a booking (dates, number of participants, itinerary, accommodation, etc.) must be made in writing. Additional fees may apply if the change generates extra costs (accommodation, transport, logistics, guides, etc.). The company will do its best to accommodate the request but cannot guarantee feasibility.

Any cancellation request must be made in writing (by email or WhatsApp).

The deposit paid at booking is non-refundable: it confirms the booking, covers administrative costs, reserves services with our local partners and organises your stay.

Only cases of force majeure may be taken into consideration, in particular: border closures; war or major unrest; natural disaster; pandemic; or any other official decision making travel impossible. In such situations, official supporting documents must be provided. After reviewing the file, the agency reserves the right to offer a postponement of the stay to a later date or to refund only the sums not already committed to non-refundable services.

In all other cases of cancellation, the deposit is retained by the agency. If the full amount of the stay has already been paid, the agency reserves the right to retain 30% of the total trip price, plus any costs corresponding to services already booked and non-refundable.

We strongly recommend that all travellers take out travel insurance covering cancellation and unforeseen events.

Itineraries may be adapted according to weather conditions, the state of the tracks, safety constraints, accommodation availability or any circumstance beyond the organiser's control. Such adjustments do not constitute a breach of contract as long as they aim to ensure the safety or smooth running of the trip.

The client undertakes to:

• respect the times communicated;
• follow the instructions of guides and escorts;
• behave respectfully towards local populations, other participants, animals and the desert environment;
• hold the documents required to enter Morocco (passport, visa if required, etc.).

The client remains responsible for their personal belongings throughout the stay.

Some excursions, hikes or treks require suitable physical condition. The client declares that they are fit to take part in the activities booked and informs the organiser of any medical condition, allergy, treatment or dietary restriction that may affect the stay. Desert Legacy Tours SARL reserves the right to refuse the participation of anyone whose state of health would endanger their own safety or that of the group.

The client is strongly advised to take out travel insurance covering in particular cancellation, medical expenses, repatriation, accidents, and loss or theft of luggage. Desert Legacy Tours SARL does not automatically provide individual insurance to travellers unless otherwise stated.

Desert Legacy Tours SARL is responsible for the proper performance of the services it organises, within the limits of applicable Moroccan legislation. It cannot be held liable in cases of force majeure; unforeseeable and insurmountable acts of a third party; fault of the client; or delays or cancellations of flights, public transport or external services not directly organised by the company.

Information collected at booking is used exclusively to process bookings, organise services, communicate with travellers and meet applicable legal obligations. Data is not sold to third parties for commercial purposes. See our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

All content on this website (texts, images, videos, logos, graphics, documents, etc.) remains the exclusive property of Desert Legacy Tours SARL or its respective authors. Any unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.

Any complaint relating to a service must be sent in writing within 15 days of the end of the stay, together with the necessary supporting documents. Desert Legacy Tours SARL will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible.

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Morocco, unless mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise.
